Treatment For Younger Kids
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children be evaluated for orthodontic care beginning at age 7. At this early age, Dr. Lyles is able to determine if treatment is recommended right away or if waiting until all of the adult teeth have come in - around age 12.
Dr. Lyles takes a conservative approach and rarely recommends this early phase of treatment, but will continue to see your child every year to monitor growth and, if indicated, recommend treatment at the appropriate age. This service is provided free of charge.
